“ I have returned to UT47 (now at their new location) and this place NEVER disappoints!! I've finally tried the vegan eggs Benedict and it was SO delicious. I ordered the "Penny-Benny #2-V Vegan with Tofu Bacon on Multigrain bread" and I was IN love. I've been vegan for a while so I know plant-based food has been elevating, BUT I've never had a plant-based "egg"that looked SO realistic. I cut into the "yolk" and it was the perfect runny texture and splattered onto me. The flavor itself was delicious and definitely hearty with the tofu bacon. The hollandaise sauce also had a nice coconutty flavor. I'm forever impressed by UT 47. By far one of the best places to get a vegan breakfast in NYC and there are tons of non-vegan options to suit everyone's needs with comparable prices or other brunch spots. The service was quick and friendly per usual! I don't think I really like the vibe of their new location. It's not the same cozy breakfast/lunch spot as before and the lighting is not as great. The checkered floors, red velvet accents, and overall vibe is more of a bar/night-life restaurant. However, this wouldn't detour me from visiting as the food is so good and I'm I really happy that they're expanding :) ”
“ Fantastic food here!!! Lots of vegetarian and vegan options too. Everyone can eat here. Fabulous brunch spot. It's a small space so I definitely recommend making reservations. I had the tofu bacon eggs Benedict and it was so delicious!! My friend had a vegan Benedict and my boyfriend had a bacon Benedict and they loved theirs as well. I really enjoyed my chai latte as well and the mug it was served in. Attentive and friendly service. I really enjoyed the art, colorful decor, and fun vibe. Very welcoming space. I highly recommend! ”
“ Had a fun time at UT47. I would highly recommend getting a reservation in advance, as it was packed when we arrived! We sat on the back patio, which had great light. Our waitress was very nice, and gave the two vegan meals (mine included) a vegan blueberry muffin which was warm and very tasty! I ordered the avocado toast and the green juice. LOVED the green juice - not pictured, but they gave you a huge glass! I liked the avocado toast - it was a nice mix of flavors, felt healthy, and was tasty. I only wish they would've mashed the avocado to make it a bit easier to eat; though I understand why they didn't, as the presentation was gorgeous! ”
“ We were in NYC near Christmas and of course are looking for vegan fare, they had so much to choose from! We tried UT 47 for breakfast and was amazed by their vegan take on eggs Benedict! WOW!!!! You will not believe this is all vegan! A must try in NYC! Waitress was so kind and efficient, this restaurant is a hidden gem! ”
“ Very cute little cafe, not big enough to hang around but if you are looking to pick up a solid hot beverage to bring home or to walk around the area, this is where you should go. I picked up 2 drinks to bring to a friends, a Matcha latte for me & a cold brew latte for my girl. I fell in love with the cans these drinks came in, like a beer can, they mark off on the side what you are getting. Such a creative touch! Very rememberable. ”
“ Breaking my rule to not give five stars to any place I've only gone to once, but I'm doing it with UT47! This brunch/lunch/Korean fusion place was, in a word, spectacular. I had the avocado toast with a poached egg (you can have this vegan as well) -- and this was hands down the best avocado toast I've ever had. How they got such a fresh, flavorful avocado in the dead of winter is beyond me, but I'm not going to question it! The highlight of the dish, though, was the lemon dressing that was on the salad and the toast. So bright -- and the greens were as fresh as the avocado. It also came with a tiny chocolate brownie -- a wee sweet to compliment perfectly the savory meal. My friend ordered the chicken dumplings, which were excellent. He also had the beef tacos, which I didn't taste, but which he raved about. I bet any of these could be made vegetarian or vegan -- and if not, there are plenty of both types of options, so people with all sorts of dietary needs will be happy here. The restaurant is tiny -- you definitely want to make a reservation; even with one, there was a (short) wait. The line otherwise went out the door. The neat thing was, once we were seated, we didn't feel rushed even with people waiting. That's great business. Thanks for the great experience! Looking forward to the next visit! ”
“ VEGAN REVIEW! My goodness, this breakfast brunch spot is literally the best. Small lil restaurant with indoor and patio seating in the back. I ordered a vegan salmon and eggs Benedict dish. I had so much trouble believing my dish was vegan because the egg would burst when cutting into the Benedict. But it was definitely vegan, I had it taste tested lol. The vegan kimchi Mandy was very good although very similar to this brand I had from the frozen section. Either way, worth the penny. Very delicious and definitely gonna be revisited when I stop by New York again! Service was great. Definitely check this place out. ”
“ UT47 is a great spot for coffee or brunch/lunch and also has many options if you are vegetarian or vegan! I loved all the different fun tea lattes and food options! You can't really go wrong with anything! I loved the smoked salmon eggs Benedict and Korean bulgogi beef tacos! All the dishes everyone got looked amazing and are large portions! ”
